The work of six of Canada's top young artists is examined in this two part case-bound catalogue which includes essays by curators Philip Monk and Xandra Eden. Bounce: Brian Jungen / Myfanwy MacLeod / Damian Moppett, a Summer 2002 exhibition curated by Monk, highlighted the sculptural dimension of three Vancouver artists' practices and examined their work in relation to the photo-conceptualism that had dominated the Vancouver art scene over the past twenty-five years. In Through the Out Door: David Armstrong-Six / Germaine Koh / Nestor Krüger, an exhibition curated by Eden in Summer 2002 as well, focused on sculpture, video and performance work by three Toronto-based artists who shared an interest in transforming the viewer's perception of territory and space. This catalogue includes colour reproductions of the work in the exhibitions and black and white reproductions of the artists' past work, along with brief biographies.
