Joey Morgan’s 1991 exhibition, EVERYTHING You Always Wanted, Anywhere But Here, involved the constant displacement of the viewer from the more remote position of observer to that of confidante or participant. Similarly, the work shifts from being about others, other characters, to being delivered from the subject-position, “I,” and the more impersonal “it.”
This kit includes a CD recording by Joey Morgan and an 82-page exhibition catalogue and artist’s book. The book features translucent photographs, illustrations and text designed and produced by Morgan. This book also features an essay by curator Louise Dompierre.
