This 96-page hardcover catalogue features installation images from Scott Lyall’s 2009 exhibition at The Power Plant, The Power/Color Ball. The catalogue was conceived by Lyall as a component of the exhibition. It includes images from the past exhibitions referenced by The Power/Color Ball, as well as images of lectures and special events which took place in the installation space during the course of the exhibition. In particular, the catalogue highlights the performance by artist Ei Arawaka which occurred on the closing weekend of the exhibition. The publication also includes texts by writer Caroline Busta, artist and writer Robert Linsley and Director of The Power Plant and curator of the exhibition, Gregory Burke.
This publication is a proud recipient of the 2010 OAAG Awards in the Design category.
